8:55 AM: Tommy Thompson will introduce McCain at Serb Hall event
Former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson will introduce John McCain at the Republican Party of Milwaukee County and Republican Party of Wisconsin, 4th Congressional District Reagan Day Fish Fry Dinner at Serb Hall Friday.
Thompson, the former secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services under President George Bush, initially ran his own campaign for president before bowing out in August. He endorsed New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, but has shifted his support to McCain.
