2:35 PM: Poll: Clinton leads Obama in Wisconsin, McCain favored by GOP
Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama in a poll of likely Democratic primary voters put out by the American Research Group Inc.
Half of those surveyed backed Clinton, while 41 percent supported Obama.
The telephone survey of 600 likely Dem primary voters was conducted Feb. 6-7. In included 376 Dems and 224 independents and Republicans. The margin of error was plus or minus 4 percentage points.
Among Dems, Clinton led 56-36, while independents favored Obama 50-41.

On the GOP side, John McCain was favored by 51 percent of likely Republican primary voters, while Ron Paul was backed by 7 percent and Mike Huckabee was supported by just 4 percent.
But Mitt Romney dropped out of the race on the second day the poll was in the field, possibly skewing the results. Romney was backed by 29 percent of those surveyed.
McCain was backed by 47 percent of Republicans surveyed and 61 percent of independents.
The 600 voters surveyed include 408 Republicans and 192 independents and Dems.
