7:18 PM: Moore rips Bush

U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore welcomed attendees with a short barn-burner bashing President George W. Bush.

Moore said that under Bush, "the last seven years have been hell," and listed the exact days and hours that he has left in the Oval office.

Moore criticized Bush for his handling of the war in Iraq.

"We want a regime change, not in Iraq but here at home right here in the United States of America," Moore said.

With a primary fight that has gotten contentious at times, Moore said that "when it's all over, we're all Democrats and we're going to come together."

"It will be a great morning in America when we take back our nation from the right wing."
