7:02 PM: Kohl Center filling up
It's about an hour before Barack Obama's rally begins at the Kohl Center, and the place is rapidly fillng up.
The stage is set up on the arena floor with room for supporters between the stage and a riser for the media. Half of the arena floor is sectioned off for media. The first level of seats is full, save for an area that's blocked off. The second level is full all the way around the stadium, while all but one end of the stadium is full on the third and final level of seats. That's rapidly filling in.
Local band The Kissers played for the crowd. The campaign has also played a feed from CNN about today's returns in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., primaries as well as campaign video.
