Vos: Master of all media

Rep. Vos, who is known to give constant updates on the committee happenings via his Twitter account, stepped out of the chamber to do a quick on-air interview with WIBA-AM's conservative talk show host Vicki McKenna, and got some chiding for it.

Rep. Pocan informed the committee and those gathered about Vos' whereabouts. Dem Pocan said he wanted to "give a shout-out" to McKenna and her "teabagger" listeners.

Rep. Montgomery also kidded his colleague. "I guess twittering just isn't enough," he said.

The "teabag" reference has run its course. It never was funny and demeans those to whom it is referenced as well as the user. These are serious times and although levity serves many purposes, vulgarity doesn't. Let's put that one to rest, please.

Pocan owes an apology for calling people crude names he would never stand for.
I have news for him; Democrats will not always be the majority. They are working hard to get themselves out of office. It can Happen, and I and my family will be working to that outcome.
