Miller: JFC may have to revisit some budget work
JFC co-chair Mark Miller said following today's meeting that the committee may have to take a look at some of the votes it's taken so far on the 2009-11 budget after revenue collection numbers are released.
"If the numbers are really bad we may hve to go back and revisit some of what we've done to this point," he said.
Miller said it's too early to talk about what options might be available to reconcile the budget with decreasing revenue. But he said one of the reasons that the JFC meeting was cancelled Thursday was because of the uncertain fiscal condition of the state, which he called "very volatile right now."
