GOP motion to block warden overtime pay fails
Dems reduced the amount of overtime for DNR wardens, but didn't go as far as Republicans would have liked.
Rep. Montgomery proposed eliminating the $357,600 in overtime for the biennium proposed by Doyle. That motion failed 4-12.
But a motion from the Dems to cut $119,600 from the overtime appropriation passed 14-2. (budget paper 561)
