The State Treasurer will get to keep four workers to manage unclaimed property at a cost of $364,000 over the biennium, funded by revenues from the collection of unclaimed property.

The positions were originally provided in 2006-07 as two year project positions, and extended in the 2007-09 budget.

The motion from Rep. Pocan deletes the positions on June 30, 2011.

The motion passed 16-0.
